She has dedicated herself to these causes and is committed to the impact of doing work locally. This does not include practicing pharmacy at this time. She would love to open a compounding pharmacy one day. She is working toward the day when pharmacists, doctors and other health care providers can have their own practices, instead of working for corporations.
Her activism work includes helping medical professionals, but is much broader than that. Her activism is rooted in integrity. She is a licensed healthcare professional and brings wellness services to marginalized areas of Ohio. She has tried to bring businesses into her area, and has set up local businesses in the areas she has lived in. She is also involved in activism that brings broadband to rural communities. She advocates for affordable energy and resources for marginalized communities in both urban and rural areas.
She volunteers as a wellness coach for a local girls basketball team. Some of this fundraising is directed toward establishing a team of wellness coaches who can be paid to visit schools to work with coaches of young athletes and their teams. Wellness coaches bring stretching, yoga, workouts, mindfulness, breath work techniques and other practices that can enhance focus, calm, strength of body, mind and character. They also show athletes how to breathe when injured and heal effectively.
Donations pay for time and resources. It takes a person with time and resources, and the know-how, to sit down and become knowledgeable in these areas. It takes training and certification. Cristina is also a certified substitute teacher, showing that she has been through the background checks, the applications and the education – an example of her dedication to the cause.
It takes decades to develop networking and patience to reach a broader audience. It takes dedication and thick skin to consistently engage in activism and with your community.
If you don’t have time to be an activist, please help by donating to someone who does.

Cristina will also travel to Washington DC to meet with a legislative staffer from the office of Congressman Michael A. Rulli (OH-06) to discuss healthcare reform, mainly focusing on PBMs and pharmacy ownership at the end of February 2025. This benefits the patients and the pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who would, someday soon, like to see us return to having the option to own our own practices. She will need money for travel.
